Product Design

Our product design services vary with the needs of our clients. Typically, this service begins with a meeting focused on discussing the product to be developed or improved. Once we have gathered all the required information, we can begin working on the conceptualization of the project. Once the concept is developed and accepted we are ready to start on virtual models and create an accurate design of the product. This 3d virtual model can then be used to perform functionality, analysis and FEA analysis before beginning to fabricate a prototype which reduces time and cost. Once we are satisfied, we then proceed with the prototyping process.

Most parts can be fabricated using additive manufacturing which again lowers the overall development cost and accelerates the process. However, some projects cannot be fully prototyped using additive manufacturing. These prototypes are used to evaluate physical functionality and capacity. If details of the design require refinement, we return to the virtual model and perform the corrections.

Once the client is satisfied, we proceed with fabrication drawings that will be used to manufacture the pilot parts and/or end-use parts for testing. Once the product meets all the established requirements it is ready to mass produce.
